Feel Better in Your Body
Personalized nutritional therapy to help you better understand your body and support your health through realistic changes that fit your life.
What Is Nutritional Therapy?
Nutritional therapy is a holistic approach that supports your body’s foundational needs rather than chasing symptoms in isolation. Together, we’ll explore areas such as digestion, blood sugar balance, sleep, stress, and nutrient intake to better understand what may be influencing how you feel. Using food-first strategies and personalized recommendations, we’ll focus on practical, sustainable changes that fit your life.
Who I Help
I work with people who are curious about what may be contributing to how they feel and want a more personalized, whole-body approach to their health.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out. You may simply know that you want to feel better, understand your body more clearly, and make realistic changes that support your health over time.
My work is rooted in five foundational areas of health: nutrient-dense nutrition, digestion, blood sugar regulation, stress, and sleep.
Rather than viewing symptoms in isolation, I look at the body as an interconnected system. Together, we’ll explore how these foundations may be influencing one another and create a personalized plan that supports your body and fits your life.

The Heart Behind Nourished With Whitney
Hi, I’m Whitney.
My path into nutritional therapy was shaped by both professional training and personal experience. Like many of my clients, I spent years searching for answers while navigating digestive challenges, body image struggles, and the frustration of not receiving the support I needed.
As both a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I believe lasting change begins with curiosity, compassion, and support for the body’s foundations. My goal is to help you better understand your body and create sustainable habits that fit your life.
I’d be honored to be part of your journey.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Our work together begins with an initial intake appointment, which typically lasts 75 minutes depending on your needs.
Before we meet, you’ll complete intake paperwork so I can begin understanding the bigger picture of your health. During our first appointment, we’ll explore areas such as your current diet, eating habits, kitchen setup, lifestyle, health history, and goals, as well as any practical or financial considerations that may impact your ability to make changes.
Your second appointment is a collaborative 60-minute protocol appointment, where we’ll review my recommendations and tailor a plan that feels realistic and supportive for you.
From there, follow-up appointments typically last 45–50 minutes and are scheduled based on your goals and level of support needed. Together, we’ll continue fine-tuning your plan by looking at areas like sleep, movement, digestion, stress, and overall progress.
This is a collaborative process, you are the expert on your lived experience, and I’m here to guide, educate, and support you along the way.

Not necessarily.
My approach is food and lifestyle first, which means we typically begin by looking at foundational areas such as nutrition, meal timing, sleep, stress, digestion, and blood sugar regulation.
Supplements can sometimes be a helpful tool when additional support is needed, but they are never the foundation of my work and are not recommended simply for the sake of adding more.
Any supplement recommendations I make are thoughtful, personalized, and based on your individual goals, needs, and budget.

As a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, I focus on nutrition and lifestyle recommendations that support overall wellness and foundational health.
While emotions or life stressors may naturally come up during our appointments, nutritional therapy appointments are not psychotherapy and are not intended to provide mental health treatment.
If deeper therapeutic work is needed, that would need to take place separately through my psychotherapy practice. Likewise, if an existing therapy client wants to explore nutrition support, those appointments are scheduled separately under my NTP services.
Keeping these services separate helps maintain clear boundaries and ensures each type of care stays aligned with its intended purpose.
-
Weight loss can be a health goal for some clients, but it is not the primary focus of my work.
Rather than centering calories, restriction, or the number on a scale, I focus on supporting the body’s foundational health through nourishment, sleep, digestion, stress regulation, and blood sugar balance.
My goal is to help you build a healthier relationship with your body and better understand what it needs to function well.
For many people, body composition changes may happen as overall health improves, but the deeper goal is helping you feel stronger, more nourished, and more supported in your body.

At this time, I do not accept insurance for nutritional therapy services.
Nutritional therapy is typically considered a wellness service and is not covered by most insurance plans.
Payment is due at the time of your appointment. If you have questions about pricing or want to discuss whether this service may be a good fit for your budget, I’m happy to talk through that during our consultation.

It depends on your health history, current lifestyle, and what your body needs most. Some clients notice positive changes in energy, digestion, or sleep within the first few weeks, while others experience more gradual progress over several months.
Instead of focusing on a specific timeline, we'll pay attention to how your body responds, celebrate each step forward, and make thoughtful adjustments along the way. My goal is to help you build lasting health—not temporary results.
Ready to Take the Next Step?
Taking the first step can feel vulnerable, especially if you’ve tried many things and still feel stuck.
You don’t need to have everything figured out. You don’t need to be perfect, and you don’t need to know exactly what’s wrong. You simply need to be curious about what your body may be trying to tell you.
If that sounds like you, I’d love to meet you. I’m here whenever you’re ready.
