Why I Do This Work
My path to becoming a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner began through an unexpected place: my work as a therapist.
Over the years, I had countless conversations with people who were doing meaningful work to improve their mental and emotional health, yet many still felt stuck. Again and again, I found myself wondering about the role of factors like sleep, nutrition, blood sugar balance, digestion, and chronic stress.
The connection I began to see…
I began to see something important: many of the symptoms people struggle with are not random or broken parts of themselves, but patterns their mind and body learned in an effort to survive.
When the body is depleted or out of balance, it can become much harder to feel well, think clearly, and create lasting change.
Why Nutritional Therapy
That realization led me to pursue training in nutritional therapy and build a separate practice focused on supporting the body’s foundations.
As a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, my goal is not to diagnose, treat, or cure mental health conditions. Instead, I help clients better understand how foundational areas like nourishment, sleep, digestion, stress, and blood sugar regulation may be influencing how they feel day to day.
My background as a therapist helped shape the way I understand the connection between our experiences, our health, and how we care for ourselves. Nourished with Whitney is a separate nutritional therapy practice focused on supporting the body’s foundations.
Better nutrition. Built for real life.
You don’t need to make everything from scratch, throw out everything in your pantry, or spend your weekends shopping at three different grocery stores to eat well. I want to help you make better nutrition work within the life you already have, because you have other things to do, too.
I believe that small, practical shifts can create meaningful change over time. My hope is to help you better understand your body, feel more supported in your health, and move toward lasting wellness with greater clarity and confidence.
If you’re curious about what nutritional therapy could look like for you, I’d love to start with a conversation.
